Hatzor Air Force Base (AFB) also known as Kanaf 4 is located in central Israel and is host to two squadrons.
101 Tayeset (sqn) F16C "Barak"
105 Tayeset F16D "Barak"
In 1942 Hatzor (then RAF Qastina) was formed as a RAF station but when the British forces withdrew in 1948 was handed over to the Israel Air Force (IAF).
For our short visit to Hatzor, Aviation Reporting were allowed to photograph the preservation airpark and have 30 minutes photography at the end of the runway.
