On Saturday 19th May 2018 the 56.Baza Lotnicza of the Wojska Ladowe (Polish Army) held it's annual "Air Picnic" at Inowroclaw Army base Poland. This very informal event had a few stalls set out for gifts and food, equipment, trucks and armoured vechicles along with based helicopters, Mi-2s,Mi-24D/Vs and W-3PLs. Arriving mid-afternoon we had missed the mass flypast over the base but were still to able to enter to visit the static helicopters, 20+ helicopters were on show to be photographed around the field. Great weather and a very relaxed atmosphere helped us enjoy this small but enjoyable Open Day.
