Photo Report - Naval Air Station Kingsville - 2012

Naval Air Station Kingsville South Texas is home to Training Air Wing 2 (TAW-2), hosting two squadrons of T-45 Goshawks from training squadrons VT-21 and VT-22, in total, instructors and newly winged pilots fly in almost 100 Goshawks. More than 200 Navy and Marine Corps students train each year with TAW-2, the instructors are able to fly a high number of training flights all year round due to the mild Texas Gulf coast climate.

During October 2012 access was granted to visit the busy NAS Kingsville flightline, a morning with V-21 and VT-22 produced the following photo's.

A big thank you to the media and PAO team of TAW-2 for allowing the up close access to the T-45s.
