Hill Aerospace Museum is located on approximately 30 acres of the Northwest corner of Hill AFB, at 7961 Wardleigh Road, five miles South of Ogden, Utah. The museum, which opened in 1986, was founded in 1981 as a part of the USAF Heritage Program. The Utah museum moved to its current facility in 1991 and boasts 70 aircraft on display in its two inside galleries and outside air park, it exhibits thousands of artifacts depicting the history of aviation of the USAF and Hill AFB.
The museum is staffed by volunteers who are on hand to answer any questions you may have and is open Mon-Sat 09.00-16.30. The museum is free to enter but monetary donations are gratefully accepted. The aircraft outside are kept in good condition and are well spaced out making good photographic opportunities possible, inside some of the aircraft are bunched up and crowded, but that aside the museum has some very interesting aircraft and well worth a few hours of your time.
Please note that this museum is never open on a Sunday, a lesson learned from a previous visit.
