Zeltweg Austria - Militarluftfahatausstellung - 2016

The Militarluftfahrtausstellung opened here at Zeltweg in 2005, it is based in hangar 8 and normally open Tues-Sun 09.00 - 17.00. From the summer months to can visit between May to early October. If the Austrian Airpower airshow is on, then this is a good time to visit it as I did in Sept 2016. Around two dozen aircraft are usually to be seen, some in attractive schemes, also of interest is a mockup of a He162 Salamander production line and an Me109D wreck. Very good for a small museum, can be done before the flying program starts. The museum can be accessed without entry to the base.
