Little Rock Air Force Base Heritage Park 2016
Located roughly 12 miles North East of Little Rock, Arkansas, off Highway 67/167 is the C-130 “Hercules” Air Base of Little Rock.
On an April 2016 visit to see the resident squadrons, we were given permission to view and photograph the base Heritage collection also. Though small in size they were immaculately kept and indicative of aircraft that had operated from Little Rock at one time or another since its inception.
I returned to the base for the 2018 Air Show and under supervision was able to add the recently acquired Shawnee. Upon leaving, a C-130E located outside the base itself was also “snapped up”.
Enjoy this wonderfully preserved historical collection.
